What's a good, preppy look for going back to school?

Curly/Wavy Hair, simple style. A tee and a skirt with flats or vans. It’s casual and preppy (girly)

White knitted stockings kinda thing not exactly knitted but dont really know how to explain it. brown shorts over it with thin black belt. white headband. peach fancy ruffled top and white cardigan…black bangle…and shoes like these! btw these are my shoes. and they are found in walmart. by miley and max ariza or something like that. i know i know it’s miley and shes slutty and what not but when you look at some of the clothes they aren’t that bad. :P and sorry my bracelet was in the pic lol i had to reach to snap my webcam somehow and yes i use all my webcam pics to post on FA :P

flats are great for the preppy look. Collared shirts and pleated skirts also make a preppy outfit. satchel bags are really popular this season and they can make an outfit look polished. a plus is they look good with almost every outfit so if you want to choose a new school bag i suggest satchels.

The point of preppy is to look neat and polished. so keep things simple and just cuts and design that are simple and clean.

Hair - loose curls, easily done with a curling iron. Little make-up, only if you really need it. Maybe some foundation and brown eye-shadow. The rest of the outfit in the pic you can find easily at wetseal.com, forever21.com, yesstyle.com, polyvore.com or target.
