What's the best way to tell someone that they don't dress very well?

Have them look at things you think they lok good in, secretly change thr style without telling them u don’t like what they wear.

Wait.. Are you embarrased of them? or do you just think they need help? You could offer to go shopping with them. Or you could just in a nice way, like historyfrk said, tell them the truth. “Look, i’m not trying to be rude. But your clothes jsut dont fit your personality” Something like that.

Umm well i guess talk to them and see what they think..go to the mall or something with them..

in my opinion, telling someone they don’t dress well is a really superficial move. instead, when you hang out, ask if you can give her (is it a her?) a make over. like, pick out an outfit and do her hair & stuff. if she looks in the mirror & likes what she sees, she might start trying to do that. if not, who cares haha.

I don’t think that it is necessarily superficial. I mean, don’t you ask people “Do i look good in this outfit?”? Wouldn’t you hate if you went around in what you thought was cute, but really nobody liked and thought it wasn’t the best oufit for you? And then nobody told you???

Well, to be honest…how someone else dresses is there business, and they are entitled to have their own style and dress as they please. However, if you think they just don’t know how to dress nice, and would like to dress better…you can offer to help them out. Go shopping with them, or give them some clothes of yours you don’t want anymore, and pick out some things that you both like and think would look good. Don’t be pushy, and let them have some say in what they want to wear.

Instead of telling them that they don’t dress well, go shopping with them and find a dress or a top and say ‘hey this would look hot as on you!’, and be suggestive toward them trying it on and buying it.

Go shopping and suggest cute clothes that you think really would look cute on them. Or try to help them create their own clothing style!
