Kaay, so i applied for a Customer Service Job at Pizza Nova, the first time i dropped off my resume, me and the manager there sat down and talked about when i can work, and from what times etc .. and he looked over my resume right at the moment .. then he said i can come in for an interview with 2 other managers there on Tuesday, which is today .. and that he'd call if something might occur and that they wont make it ..
So today i came, all dressed up, i was soo proud and ready for the interview. Yet when i walked in, he told me that he FORGOT to call me and tell me that the 2 other managers couldnt make it and that i should come on Sunday at 5 ..
Like i am soo mad and disapointed right now, its like i want this job soo bad that i am puttin in soo much effort but he isnt ..i need a job and he's kinda wasting my timee .. help ?
To be honest, the way they treated you isn't very nice. A phone call isn't too much to ask if the other two managers were not going to show up. They could have rang you and reschedule the interview time as you wasted your time driving there, I hope they apologised to you......I know you are desperate for the job, but just be careful. These people at this shop have already shown to you they are not very reliable......It is a very strong indication that things may get worse if you work there, for examples: your shifts gets cancelled at the last minute or they make you finish your shift earlier then what you are rostered to do without notice...Just be weary but goodluck with your job hunting.
Well my dear, that is how stuff works out there today...you need the job but arent in such a hurry to hire ya...with the economy the way it is it, dont feel so bad if they say on sunday that they found someone else or just decided that they didnt need anyone after all! Its not 100% sure...I could be wrong, just by the way you stated all of this sounds like they just arent in a hurry to hire or they would have made every effort to call you!
Dont give up...maybe something did really happen & they might surprise you! Just be patient I guess & keep looking elsewhere in the meantime...just in case worse comes to worse!

If you were set up with a second interview then you definately shouldn't give up. People make mistakes. If they are hiring then they may be under staffed and he just got busy and forgot. Make sure when you show up Sunday that you look your best and don't give any attitude. If they bring it up just smile and say you understand that these things happen.
