What version of limewire is safe to download?

What version of limewire is safe to download, because there are many limewires, for example limewire 4.1 limewire 5.2 I dont know what is the difference if anybody knows tell me please thank you.

Get the newest version. BUT, you need to delete whatever virus-protection program you have, and download AVG. As far as I know, it is the ONLY virus program that will keep your computer from getting infected by any viruses that you may accidently download on limewire (I have limewire, and yes, viruses to very often get downloaded). um im not sure what you want to download but if its music…dont bother using limewire its a real computer killer…try this website www.jamglue.com all you must do is become a member and then your able to download music files…its a lot faster than p2p programs

none cus the gnutella network is full of viruses and its so windows 3.2

what im saying is is that its a very old piece of software I used to use winmx before they were ordered to stop production of it…

best thing to use is a torrent software and download from torrent sites with user reviews of the file so you know if its safe or not safe to download :p

the most recent version of limewire is the safest in my opinion. I have it and so far my laptop runs smoothly with out fail so I would definitely recommend it
