What to do with my ps3?

My ps3 got yellow light of death (2 months ago). I really miss playing. I have two choices of who to send it in to. Sony will charge $150 and just send me a refurbished one with clean hdd. If I send it in to ps-pros they cost about $100 and I keep my hdd data. They fix it with a “heat gun”. But I read that after it gets fixed, its life expectensy(spelled wrong lol) is 6 months to 2 years. Before I sent my ps3 one year after purchase for fried bluray laser to sony. So it got ylod just about 8-9 months after I got it back. Who should I send it to? Im leanin towards ps-pros

I’d send to sony…unless you’re really going to miss your data. Reason being, the shelf life will be much longer overall…(and have you seen the new motion control demos? They ROCK).
