What to do about a rumor?

Okay, just today our friend had told us that someone said in her english class “Are those two lesbians?” When we heard about that we were like what the f*ck? There were these to people who we will call H.L. and K.D. well these two were the ones discussing it and K.D. brought it up and said that he just heard that…but now people are looking at us weird and our crushs, mostly mine I’m not sure if he thinks that or not if he knows about it…I am not, I repeat not a lesbian! I love guys way too much! What do we do, how do we find out who spread it? We will just try to ignore them for now…
