What to do!?

Ok so I liked this guy and he’s really shy. I have a problem where I get nervous around guys I like and so I can’t talk to them! So I tried to make him notice me. But it went to far. I annoyed him and he started to avoid me. I feel bad because I’m not annoying. I just want to be friends with him now, but I don’t know what to say to him or how to approach him. All this happened in December of last year. Thanks for your help and time! :)
