What supplements should I give my dog?

I have a five month old female pitbull and I wanna help her gain some muscle. How would I do that, and what do I need to give her?

Don’t supplement a pup. Pits are heavey boned dogs…anything tha makes them grow faster or heavier risks the joints that have to support the muscle and weight at she matures. At 5 months, she still growing UP very fast…by the time she is a year old, she’ll quit growing up, and start filling out…that’s when you’ll start to see the muscle developement. You also need to take care in her activities at this age…you want to protect those joints until they harden.

Patience is the key in allowing her to develop naturally, until her growing spurts are done…When she’s 18 months or so, then look into supplements…along with good exercise (that’s where muscle comes from)…

I think you’re going to find that she’ll muscle up just fine…Pits are naturaly heavy muscled.

Like Phrannie said, She’s TOO young to NEED muscle now. It’s almost like your saying you want a 2 year old to get a lot of muscle. Pitbulls, themselves have muscle as they get older.

Look into getting supplements when she gets older.
