What should you do when you like a person who's out of your league?

I like one of my closest guy friends at school and I feel like he is out of my league. Practically the whole entire school knows him because he is a violin prodigy and I know a lot of girls like him. He hangs out with us during lunch and sometimes I see something there between us. I think I’m the only girl who he talks to the most and he always acts different around me. We would have random dramatic moments and just play around with each other and we would give each other weird stupid nicknames. One time my friend asked him if I looked good with my other friend and he said no and then I asked him if he was jealous and he began to stall and stutter. Sometimes I feel he is out of my league because he is such a good violinist and the only thing I’m good at is singing. I’m not as talented as him and I have a feeling he likes a musician rather than a vocalist. I really don’t know what to do or think and something tells me that I’m just seeing things that are not quite actually there.
