Should I say yes or no?

well its the same guy again his name is Josiah well just recently his X told him she still had feelings for him and so that confused him about everything because me and him were like about to start a realtionship because everything was going great but then on friday he told me he wanted to take a break from everything and I asked him why and he said feelings for someone never go away but yet she had screwed him around before but were taking a break becasue hes confused about what he wants to do but I called him and said hey be complety honest with me because nothing you say or do could upset me more or hurt me anymore and I asked him did he want me to forget about him and did he want to forget about me act like nothing ever happpend between me and him and he said no he didnt want that to happen he has a game at my highschool hes VS my school in soccer and thats on the 13th and he said he still wants me to come im confused though should I still go? what should I say when I see him?and if he wants me should I take him or should I say no im so confused and upset
