What should I do if my girlfriend knows my b day?

Okay I met this girl in school and I started talking to her she was great we had so much in common but then a week later she told me that she liked me and of course I said I liked her too. So we started going out three days later I went to her house and we talked about our lives a bit then she told me her dad died on 911 I was shocked cause thats my b day boy was I screwed she even said that she hated that day I felt that if she hated my b day then shell hate me if she found out what will she do . I need help on this should I tell her now that my birthday is on 911 or not and let her find out the hard but should I? Do you think it will make her mad at me or not hellp!!!

I would not have thought it would bother her. It is not something you can help and she won’t hold it aginst you.

I probably would not force the issue, but at some point it is likely she will ask or else it will get nearer to your birthday and you should probably mention it. If you really want to come out and tell her then ask her when her birthday is and she will probably ask back.

All I can say is that in future, assuming you are still together then, try not to force celebrations on her. Maybe do something nice together the day before or after, rather than on the day and just understand if she wants some space around that time. If anything this may be a good thing, it will give her a chance to form happier memories for that date in the future :)

Sorry such a horrible coincidence has happened to you though. Try not to worry, I am sure she will understand even if she feels a little weird about it at first.
