you need to understand that since you are not with this guy anymore he is fair game to any other gilr who wants him, even your friends if you dont want your friends to date him thats soemthing you need to tell them before it happnes, like aftre you broke up with him and tell them that it would hurt you and probably ruin the freindship but you didnt say anything so all you can do now is just tell your friend that its hurts you when you see them together and then wait to see if shes going to break up with soemone just because you dont like it, or stay with him if she stays, then decide wether ot not you can handle that

u need to explain to her how you feel the friend is never supposed to date the ex and if she doesnt understand that shes not a good friend

Listen, friends date exes all the time. Some people think there’s an unspoken rule against it, others think it’s fair game if you’re broken up. It really depends on how deep your friendship with the person really is.

If she asked your permission, she obviously a) likes the guy enough to risk you getting angry; and b) respects you and values your friendship enough that she was willing to ask first. The fact that you gave your permission made it okay. How would she know anything different, unless you told her?!

Unfortunately, it may be too late to back down and change your mind, and you’ll just risk your friendship if you do. Let it play out, and learn to move on and get over your ex. That’s really what this is about, after all–it wouldn’t hurt so much if you weren’t over him.
