What if I hate my Stepmom?

I knkow exactly how you feel. She thinks she can do anything she want. ( Which she can legally). Does she do things behind your dads back like yelling at you for somthing stupid while your dads at work mine does all the time, any time she can. But im moving out in a week or two so its all good. I have always blown her off and told my dad what she did and said. Esp when we get physical. so do the same

You are young and probably perceive of her as an intrusion between you and your dad.

Give her a break. It’s not her fault that your dad already had a daughter when they met and subsequently married.

Show her some respect and I’m sure she will show you respect.

Attempt to meet her halfway. Seek her womanly support when you have problems that your dad can’t deal with. Help her in being a part of the three-some to which you belong.

The more you do to try to instill harmony the happier each of the three of you Will be.

I didn’t like my stepmom either but I was a grown woman when she entered my life. She was evil and my Dad couldn’t see her for who she was. They say love is blind, well… He finally realized she was evil, when he learned that she tried to poison him but by then, it was too late. He passed away a few weeks later, not from the poison but from the Cancer he was dying of. You can’t really do anything to get him to turn against her or to not side with her, so long as he is blinded by love.
