I’d say definitely a dark shade of red. Like maybe in the dark reddish brown or burgundy family. Go here for color swatches or all the Garnier (my fave!) at home hair dye colors:
P.S. Since your hair has darker tips, your new hair color will be the same way…a little darker at the bottom than the rest of your hair. If you don’t mind this, go with the at home stuff. It’s so much cheaper. But, if you want your hair to be all the same shade, you should have a professional do it. :)
