What's your opinion about mcr?

What do you think about mcr? I heard this one girl committed suicide when she listened to that song. Do you think they send a bad message. To me their a good band but talk about death and killing a bit too much in their music. What’s your view?

No, they don’t send off a bad message. People don’t kill themselves because a song tells them to. This girl who commited suicide obviously had other problems, and her parents or friends or the media or whoever it was just wanted someone to blame, so they picked the band that she happened to listen to. It could have been any band. Besides, they’re a mainstream pop-rock group. It’s not as if they’re some creepy underground suicide cult. It really wouldn’t be in their best interests to create songs that make their fans kill themselves, would it? I don’t like them, personally…

I like them, at first I didn’t, but like they say, how can you not like it until you try it. I know suicide isn’t a good thing, but that girl may have been going through trouble in her life and was getting more and more frustrated everyday, that was probably her way of getting rid of her frustration.

I don’t think they are trying to send off bad messages, I just feel some people are listening to it the wrong way.

I like them personally and I agree with the person above me, people just take their music the wrong way. I think their music is really good

I think fashion magazines send a bad message. The majority of females have a negative body image satisfaction after a few minutes of looking at them. What has that got to do with anything? People dont commit suicide because of listening to a song (who is this person, a friend of a friend?). Talking about death and killing does not send off a bad message. The message is what one makes of it.
