What's the world's best roller coaster?

What’s the world’s best roller coaster? It’s the off season here, but I can imagine that there must be a line for the roller coaster by the time summer comes around, so I’d like to plan the trip in advance. So, what is the best roller coaster out there?

Answer #1

The world’s best coasters are often considered to be things such as Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England, Expedition GeForce in Germany, Voyage in Indiana, El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, Balder in New York, and T-Express in China.

If you truly want to see the best coasters, the most accurate poll I have ever seen would be the Mitch Hawker coaster poll..

one amusement park atleast, Cedar Point, Sandusky, OHIO……

but trust me, unless ur a big amusement park fan, and would like to have no other choice than to go there or the michigan lake beach, I suggest you stay away from ohio, but if you’re single and coming in with buddies, I would recommend the 2 hr drive up north from sandusky to Windsor, Canada…….lots of awesome clubs there……

have fun and happy planning in advance

Well, In New Jersey, there’s a theme park called Six Flags. In there, a ride called Kingda Ka awaits! =] It is the worlds tallest and fastest roller coaster. You get propelled from 0-128 in 3.5 seconds up 45 stories, then you go down at 90 degrees into a 270- degree spiral. NO JOKE!!! http://www.sixflags.com/greatAdventure/Rides/Kingdaka.aspx

Have you been to Worlds of Fun in Kansas City? It has some pretty good ones.

*There’s one called the Mamba that is said to be one of the world’s tallest, longest, and fastest roller coasters. The first drop is 205 feet down. It can reach 75 mph! There’s 5600 feet of track. I really recommend this one!!

Worlds of Fun also has the…

*Boomerang (goes up to 50 mph, upside-down, up to 12 stories high, and repeats everything backwards). My 3rd favorite

*Timber Wolf (wooden roller coaster consistently rated one of the top, built in 1989, 4230 feet of track, shakes when ridden, and goes up to 45 mph) My 2nd favorite

*Patriot (you sit and hang from the roller coaster –> fun, up to 45 mph) my 4th favorite

*Spinning Dragons (1345 feet of track where you actually spin in the cart, no ride is ever the same, goes up to 30 mph) My 5th favorite

These are all super fun to go on. There are so many rides here (even a huge ripcord!), and if you bring little kids, there are numerous things for them. If you go around Halloween, there’s extra things like a pretty scary haunted house fo you.

Hope this helped you!!
