What's the best prevention for stretchmarks?

I’m 18 and have already had a beautiful baby girl. I’m now pregnant with my second child and I’m worried about stretchmarks. I know that their some what inevitable, but other then coacoa butter, is there anything else out there that helps? I’ve heard sun exposure, vitamin e oil…suggestions?

Thanks guys! :)

you should use cocoa butter.use it at night time only.dont get into the sun.I’ve also heard that if you put carrots into a food procesor and put it on your stretch marks at least once a week, that it helps.and you can also buy the stretch mark cream from avon.it does work.it takes some time but if you use it everyday they will clear up.just keep your skin moistured.ok.I hope it works for you.

Sun exposure will make them WORSE! (sun is drying and damaging, it will only compound the stressed condition pregnancy puts on your skin) You should wait until AFTER you’ve had your baby to begin lightening them by the sun, because yes, it is true, the sun will lighten them to an extent.

Vitamin E oil really worked for me for places that I thought to put it. I used Palmer’s Cocoa Butter and that did a very good job of preventing them. I’d get out of the shower, put my Palmer’s on, and then slather on some of that Vitamin E oil. Walk around naked for a bit, lol, so that the stuff has a chance to absorb into your skin without staining your clothes.
