Im 38 weeks pregnant and feeling great & excited...Do you think I could have postpartum depression after the baby even though im happy now?

There are many factors that go into weather or not a women is going to get postpartum depression after delivering her child.
One main factor is that you go from being pragnant for nine long months to suddenly not being pregnant very fast and that is a lot on your body physicaly as well as hormonaly and emotionaly as well all of which can contribute.
The state in which you were right before you have the child can also contribute to how you would be after. Your Mind set and how you think that you are going to be after also contributes.
There is not way to say yes you will go through it and no way to say no you wont go through it however be aware of your body and emotions and take what ever actions you need to to prevent the depression.
