What items can I recycle and use to make a dress for cat walk?

I have to make a dress for my college cat walk, the theme is recycled. I was thinking maybe cutting up loads of bits of different colour walker crisp packets, but I don’t know yet. What other things can I do? any ideas will be appreciated

oh god this is my idea and yes I know is pretty crap lol

paint some bubble wrap with paint thats flexible so it doesnt crack off and become a lil too see through :S

I had to do something like that when I was in transition year in school… We made a dress out of black plastic bags, netting and old squished cans it turned absolutly briiliant… we made it really puffy and added loads of toilet roll tubes painted black for arms and lots of shredded paper all over.We even even won an award for it lol. We could chose watever theme we wanted though so we chose a spider so I dunno if that would work for you?? Xo:)
