What is the defination of an unfit parent

I need to know what is considered an unfit parent in the state of Ohio, I know there is a difference between a bad parent and an unfit parent but what is it?

I can only give you guidelines an unfit parent is someone who cannot give the basic of what a child needs like food, time , and provide the child with basic hygiene needs an unfit parent may leave the child with no adult supervision also someone dependant on drugs or other substancies like alcohol is also an unfit parent as judgement in what a child needs is not always the right one

That is pretty much the definition of a neglectful parent… in some places, if there is domestic violence in the home, the parents may also be seen as neglectful… unfit parenting probably also includes a parent that is emotionally, physically, or sexually abusing their child
