What is so great about rap music?

well nothing totally great bout the new generation rap but som gets down wit the lyrics…new stuff blows…but yeah if you listen closely and understand som lingo you can see that rap is mostly about the struggle people…in the ghetto… face…but nowadays…new “rap artist” just mess it all up and dont put soul into their lyrics nomore

I don’t really judge the beat nor the genre, I really listen to the lyrics! like I love eminem because I just find some of his songs inspiring and some striking! (lose yourself, when I’m gone and stan are my top 3 favorites!)

I think some songs are okay. But sometimes it’s just random songs about the same thing, or nothing, really. So it depends on what you like! :)

I dont really like rap but there is this one song listen to the lyrics it makes me melt every time I hear it it is so sad. my sister almost cried it is dance with the devil-immortal technique

it is amazing but I am more into oldies techno and scremo

the lyrics… well, not all people are the same.

some are positive, negative, political, religious, what ev it is…

lyrics kinda show you a sign of similarity to what one is feeling… even if it’s just one song. when that happens, people get hooked on the artist and not the message.

which is bad… those people have no scene of music appreciation

it has a really good beat and bass . thats pretty much why I like it .
