What is it like to love someone undcondistionally?

I dont think you love the person you’re in a relationship with unconditionally. Honestly I think that is only reserved for your children. When you’re in a relationship with someone you demand certain things. Like fidelity, honesty, a reciprocal relationship. They have to give you something back. With your kids, you love them before they’re in your arms. You love them when they dont do much. They just sleep, eat, cry and poop. You love them no matter how they treat you and really no matter what they do. That’s unconditional love (there’s no conditions of how you must act in order to receive that love). Romantic love, on the other hand, develops over time. It takes two people having chemistry as well as an emotional connection. It’s hard to explain that type of love. You know, when the stupid love songs start to make sense. You’re so very young. It will happen. A little patience. You’ve got a long time ahead of you. Enjoy what you have right now. When love comes, it will come. You cant force it. And what’s the hurry? There’s some people who will ‘fall in love’ 100 times in their life. And then there’s those who will only fall in love once, or a few times. They reserve that for the special ones who deserve it. And there’s nothing wrong with that. You’re not missing out by not falling for every other attractive person you meet. That’s not love. Those are just crushes. What many people your age are experiencing.
