What is going on here?

My crush finally confessed his feelings! I think. It was the last day of school & my crush & me kept on talking in the halls. He seemed nervous too.I wanted to take pik with him so I grabbed his arm. I was shaking! Anyways he hugged me like more than 5 times before leaving and when it was time to leave he told me “te quiero mucho”(I like you) I told him “as friends right?” and he looked at the ground and said no. I was like freaked out I turned around and he hugged me again. Then I told him “hey I got to go” and hes like “okey I’ll miss you take care!” I turned away and he said “I love you” my friends were in complete shock! Do you think he said it for real? Or just kidding? And thats not my only problem he has like 5 or more girls behind him! But he said no to all of them. But when my friends asked him out for me he said no. But he kept on hugging me telling me how much hell miss me & I thought he was even going to kiss me because he passed his fingers through my lips and grabbed my chin. But nothing happened! What is going on here? I got his phone # and I called him yesterday but his phone was dissconnceted! What should I do?

well I dont know about teens but adults (in 20s) usually say ‘I love you’ to their boyfriends/girlfriends and sometimes to even just good friends too. we also miss them when they are away for holidays.

In your case I guess he has given you some indirect messages. Guys esp in high school are not usually good at expressing their feelings. Atleast the one here made an effort. Find some other ways to contact him (through emails or friends), get in touch and try spending some time together. Just be frank and tell him how you feel about him and if there’s any possibility he feels the same for you. It has be either a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. No more beating around the bush.

Dont wait for too long. Holidays flings are very common so make sure you get him before any other sister does!

Seems like he really does like you if he said he’ll miss you. in my opinion though you shouldn’t throw the I love you’s around like that but if he said that well than obcviously he feels something for you. Take it slow and never pass up and opportunity

I think hes actually finally realised that after all that you like him and he likes you. when I talk to really pretty guys (like yourself) I get nervous.. its just what happens. maybe hes trying to show you that over the summer he IS gonna miss you and hes decided in his head that he needed to tell you before your school broke up for the summer. some guys do have girls hanging fir them.. doesn’t meen the guy likes the girls. hes finally expressing some of his feelings.. I think he might be finally trying to show you that he does like you.

Well a guy wouldnt go through that trouble and take it as a joke unless the guys a jerk and is only after one thing, but in the other hand theres girls whose after him and he could have went with them but he didnt. So that pretty answered some of your question, but when your friends asked him out for you and he said no he probably wants to ask you out himself or he wants you to ask him yourself, but overall he likes you, have you ever told him you liked him too? if not do so, if you have talk to him on your own without anyone else around and just talk about how much you like each other and what your gna do about it. I’m sure he was worried about losing you over the summer. He definitely likes you. I’m not sure what to make of the “I love you” though it was probably not a joke. He is probably worried about upsetting you by kissing you or whatever so you have to let him know that you like him and it will be clear sailing. Don’t go too fast but if you like him, don’t discourage him. Good luck:) P.S. Guys are so uncomfortable around crushes so respect the effort that he has made for you already!! :)
