What if I had sex and I took birth controll pills a week later? Would it stil stop me from becoming pregnant.

NO.

And a week late may even be too late for the Plan B emergency contraceptive (the pharmacist will be able to tell you).

You’re probably not pregnant- but it is a possibility. If you’re that worried, wait to see if you miss a period. I wouldn’t worry about it until that happened though.

Next time, be safe. Their are worse thing out there than pregnancy.

nope. birth control takes like two weeks to go into affect. the best thing to do would be to take a plan B pill, but you have to do that pretty quickly after sex. otherwise, unprotected sex could lead to pregnancy, yes

if you took birth control after having sex, it would not help you. you would still have the same chance of getting pregnant. birth control actually takes about a month before it kicks in. I believe you’re thinking about plan B. just in case you don’t know- you take this pill at most 72 hours I believe after you have had intercourse…

but yeah. don’t do that because you’re chances of getting pregnant will still be pretty high. :p
