I like the preppy look, but im wondering when I do go to my new school will I be judge as a poser??? I dont like to be judge I was judge in middle school but that was my falt. But this year I change I love the preppy look but just dont act like it. I'm very giggley and goffy and easy to get along. I'm scared to go but my bestie was like I just should'nt dress in thoes brands but I like them. Here is my discription im mix with everything but I look black but will I look like a poser? please replay asap :]
I am now in college and on the long run I realized that you should not care what others think of you. All throught high school I would have my hair dyed different colors, piercings, always wearing black and band shirts (metal=music, in my opinion). People have always judged me for how I look; up to this day I still dress this way, I attend many concerts and I do not care when people stare at me. My point is be who you want to be because the way I see it, you are in this world to satisfy YOURSELF not others.
what do you mean like a 'poser'? dress in what you feel comfortable in, and if you like the preppy look, go for it! and it is never too late to change your look. since you're going to a new school, try and make the best first impression that you can, by just being yourself and dressing the way that you want to dress!
For Halloween I dressed like a prep it pissed some people off but others thaught it was funny. Do what you want others can not call you a poser for dressing how you want. That is the real you!
I dont think you'll be judged as a poser. I know how you feel about the preppy look... im not preppy but I like the clothes, and I wasnt judged... hope this helps
