What if he doesn't want me to move in because of my daughter?

My boyfriend asked me how I felt about moving in. I said I’m not opposed to the idea and that it’s his decision. He said maybe it’s not a good idea, I don’t want to freak myself out, and I nforgot about your daughter, I’m not ready for your daughter to be here all the time. I only said she’s a good kid’ and usually with her dad 3 days a week anyway, he said you need to send her with her dad more then and laughed. I know he cares about me but I can’t be with him if he can’t accept her. What should I do? We have been together for 4 months.

Your daughter should be far more important to you than a boyfriend of just four months… or any boyfriend, in fact. She comes first. A good guy should realize this, too, and wouldn’t even dream of demanding such a thing!

You can find a guy that loves not only you, but your daughter, too. There are plenty of guys out there that like single moms.

kids come first, men last
