What should I do about my husband?

I know what you’re talking about… not as far as your relationship with your husband, but with seeing someone and being struck by them so much that you can’t stop thinking about them. Honestly, this can happen for a number of reasons for me.

If they smelled a certain way that gave me an intense memory (I can’t explain that much better than that) - just certain smells for remind me of my past and important people in my past and that makes me remember that person for longer than is normal.

If they are strikingly attractive. On occassion I’ll meet a woman that is so very beautiful I can’t help but wish I knew more about them and their life. I find myself thinking about them for long periods of time and fantasizing about what our lives would be like together.

Last is if they were incredibly charismatic, funny, or a combination of beautiful AND interested in me. These are usually the ones that stay the longest as they did have a moment to leave an impression and for a while you can’t help but wonder, “What if?”

Just because you’re married doesn’t mean you aren’t going to have fantasies about other people and your lives with them. If you’re like me, its fun to fantasize while making love… your partner may not appreciate it if he knew, but isn’t that part of the fun? Fantasizing. Don’t let it ruin your marriage.
