What happens if your pregnant and take a x ray?

Because I don’t know if I am or not but I took two x rays and they asked if I was pregnant or not and I said no.

next time you should ask for a test first so you will know… also never take an xray if you know for sure that you are… can hurt the baby

I don’t know for sure, a regular x-ray doesn’t have much effect. Its best to check with your doctor anyway. Its recommended too avoid anything to do with x-rays while pregnant. If your not pregnant then you don’t have anything to worry about. The cells lost through the x-rays are quickly replaced.

According to this site it can have an affect on the fetus. Depending on the frequency of the x-ray.
