What does two-faced mean?

Im fighting with somebody and now they’re calling me two-faced. I know its an insult, obviously but what exactly is it supposed to mean?

All above, and having two different personalities, making it very difficult for a person to get to know who you really are.

Its the whole concept of walk your talk Being two-faced means you say one thing and do the opposite or you act one way and think another or talk one way and behave another etc.

Typically when someone calls you two-faced its because you were his/her friend (or were pretending to be his/her friend at least) but you did something to betray his/her friendship.

Example: Susan likes George. Susan tells Ann she likes George. Ann promises she wont tell anyone. Ann then tells everyone, including George. Conclusion: Ann was supposed to be Susans friend but lied and told Susans secret.

I sincerly hope you aren’t actually two-faced because if so you have a long, lonely road ahead of you.
