I was eating chips today and I saw on the packet it said something about 99% fat free or something, and it had a little cross (like a christian cross) beside it. I was wondering what that means? Is it like an astrix?
There are a number of things it could be, my guess is that it is not a cross but rather a T which could mean Trade Mark but that is usually TM or it could be a symbol that the food is considered Kosher. Not 100% sure as I cant see it for myself.
Yes, its like the astrisk. it is sometimes used instead or if the astrisk id already being used from another sub statement.
