What does rastered mean?

Rasterizing is when you take an image, break it down into large shapes, and then turn those shapes into pixels (dots).

There’s a REALLY cool website online, called the “Rasterbater” (sounds dirty but it’s not lol). You can take any image, and rasterize it. It will take the image, make it into large shapes, and turn them into dots of various sizes. Then you can print it on multiple sheets of paper, which put together will make the image.

Here’s a photo as an example. Click the photo twice to make it bigger and see how it’s made up of dots. (I did it with the FunAdvice logo, but it would have taken 47 sheets to print it!)
