What does a minor have to do to move out early?

In California, what is the earliest a minor can move out? For I will be 17 in three days and I wish, more than anything to move in with my boyfriend. But also, I’m working extra hard to graduate early and get my high school diploma so I’ll actually be 17 and 4 months when I actually move out. Also, I’ve already been accepted to the Art Institute of Sacramento, so I’ve got things going for me. My boyfriend and I are ready to begin our lives together, is that so terrible? But anyhow, the actual question is how soon can I move out? What is the age of consent for California?

You have to go too the courts in your area and get emancipated from your mom and dad, or mom, or dad. You have to prove to the courts that you are mature enough to make it on your own and you have a life plan. They will also want to know why your parents home is not a healthy enviroment for you. Like your parents do drugs, drink and dont take care of your family, the power is always getting turned off, mom is bringing home different men(or women) all the time, letting strangers care for you and your brothers, molestation, theres a thousand reasons why you may need too move out. Its fairly easy to do if you got your s-it together. Good luck! Peace
