What do you think are the ups and downs of being mature?

With being mature, it takes experience, knowledge, and a great understanding of the world around you. Do you think bad things may come of this? At the moment, the bad things appeal to me the most. I would like to read about those more :D

Answer #1

No it is not bad to be mature but you never feel the same again as you felt when you were young, and when I was young some things which people consider bad like some violent achievements did appeal to me

Answer #2

well am mature ( got mature at a early age). it not all it crack up to be. I mean of course adults will respect you more and things. but when your mature at a early age like me ( am 15). you get annoy easy.I can’t stand the people at my high school. they so childish.but yet when your mature you can understand thing more clearly.you can help peoples more. when you become mature you get responsibility. . even tho you get annoy by childish things and stress more. being mature is a great thing to be. you can focus more in school and a lot more

Answer #3

Well, the down side to getting more mature is that you end up despising your lack of maturity. Like when people get to college and get annoyed by high school kids. It’s a part of life, but it sort of sucks. Also, maturity typically equates to a larger responsibility. You might place it on yourself, or other people might (like your parents). In any event, the stress gets heavier, but your ability to deal with said stress also expands. At the end of the day, I think it’s all well worth it.
