What do you think about Susan Boyle?

So, what do you think about her? :)

Answer #1

I think she is an amazing inspiration and I hope that her story taught a lot of people a lesson about judging a book by it’s cover. I cried the first time I heard her sing. Her voice is just so beautiful, and in my opinion she becomes absolutely beautiful when she sings.

I saw it on UTube, and can say it was a “feel good” that has lasted a week…

I watched britains got talent when she came on and I have to admit I thought she wasnt good at singing … but when she started singing .. I was like :O I shouldnt of said that

and I’ve learnt my lesson … not to judge a book by its cover … and I bet half of britain who watched that was the same as me

she is just a legend … <3

and not being nasty felix cane … have you seen loads of british people like myself … just cause you have seen that susan boyle who may not be the prettiest woman in britain doesnt mean the rest are like that … Jeezz …

Answer #4

For me, singing has nothing to do with looks - you can sing without being good looking, after all, this is why I like music, I like the “sounds” and / or lyrics; I’m not listening to music because the singer looks very good. Being good looking (but not being so talented) & having an army of dancers + backing vocals + coreography means that you are a good entertainer, not a singer. Just to add that I bet that let’s say 5 billion people aren’t really good looking or really really beutiful. I also believe, like you said that she is an inspiration. I’m very glad for her because she deserves it. & for a scottish/ british woman she looks pretty ok :)) haha

Answer #5

I think that it opened a lot of peoples eyes, because I think that pretty much everyone thought that when she came in and said she wanted to be a professional singer, people were thinking yeah right. And she turned out to be amazing. Quite inspirational I think.

I think that it reminded us that, even if we think we are not, a whole LOT of us judge people instantly on the way they look, as soon as you see a person, you gather things instantly, usually not on purpose, but we do.

PS. They even showed camera shots of people in the audience laughing to eachother, rolling their eyes etc. when she walked in, but by the end, everyone was standing.

Woop Susan you rock!!!

Answer #6

Brilliant. lol. a realy eye opener.

Answer #7

She’s living proof that stereotypes are dead wrong… There isn’t anyone who can say she didn’t put is right in our place with that!!!

She’s “one of us – regular people”, she’s not poisoned by the industry (yet), an AMAZING voice, and frankly she’s entertaining just by being herself!

That’s my story and I’m stickin to it!

Answer #8

She’s a great singer and shes funny.

Answer #9

Shes an amazing singer!!! :)

Answer #10

I think she is a inspiration! Its amazing how she sings!! And that she isn’t pretty and shows you don’t have to be pretty to be famous.

Answer #11

Crap. full stop. If she wasnt so ugly she wouldnt of got through, it was only the fact that it was so surprising that she had a decent voice looking how she does that she got through.
