What do you suggest I do?

I am 17. I’ve been through 4 relationships. I just ended my 5th. I’m really confused however. After my first I made up my mind that I wouldn’t go into another. You know first break ups are really hard to deal with. I never felt the love I felt for him with anyone else. Well…thats done and gone…partially buried…I tried again and again and again but no success. The longest had been 7 months. 3 months ago the 19th of this month would make 4 months I decided to take another try. It felt so great. I mean…it felt so real but unfortunately I dont know what happened…Since recently, he’s been acting really weird even though that was a bit of my fault because he did something and I was upset. He has this friend who he calls his ‘best friend’ I just cant stand her. Everytime she’s around everything just gets tense and feels so diff until she’s gone. Its not jealousy its just her personality. Hate it. But anyhow…all of a sudden we just stop talking. If we do talk its not like we used to and everything just feels different. He has been writing some messages which I know is about me. He doesn’t say anything to me but I know that that’s it. I know that its over but how about making it official? It really hurts but…I guess its just life. It might take me a while to get over him but I’ll just have to work with it. But what do I do? How do I suggest to him that we just end it and make it over because it doesn’t make any sense going on like this. We might as well just get it over with. And…do you think I should keep on trying or just hold off for a while? I’m really confused!!!
