Alright, this one is mainly for the guys, but ladies can chime in. As a woman who wears glasses, I just want to know which one guys prefer - glasses or contacts. I always assumed glasses were bad, but recently I've heard quite the opposite. What do you think?
hmm they're certainly not bad, it ultimately doesn't matter, but if you're asking what looks mildly better, it can depend. I think it suits some people rather than others; I'm a guy and personally wear contacts because I think I'm one of those people who don't suit them (I also hate having a big piece of metal and glass sat on top of my nose), I think the same principle probably applies to women. But ultimately no they're not a negative thing, not a 'deal breaker' as they say :) It's the last thing I could care about.
Some dull observations I have made ( I think too much)
There was a period where glasses sort of became cool with the new and often thick frames a good 3 or 4 years ago, I noticed more and more people wearing glasses. That seems to have changed recently, I guess because older 'non-cool' people started wearing better frames, which has relegated the status of glasses back a little bit of late.
It's not the accessories that matter - it's how carry yourself when wearing them.
I've seen girls in glasses carrying this naughty aura about them - the glasses are a front to be innocent-looking. That observation also applies to girls branded as dorky. On the surface they look like dorks but you go away with the feeling that they aren't what they seem to be - and that keeps guys for more of an eyeful of them.
Look at yourself overall and those glasses won't be a problem...

well I have friends (girls) that wear glasses, with sum lads its a turn on, sum lads don't care either way, and sum are shallow and do mind. I say (if you wanting to make a choice) that you should go withhow you think you look best, with them on or off. me personally I don't care. but if it helps you look beautiful with them on and off. =)
Well, for me I dont care if she wears glasses or not, its not a criterion for me at all. But if we talk about the LOOK So it depends on how the girl looks with glasses.

well I wear contacts cause on me glasses look reallly bad, but thts on me... for some people it makes them look "complete" with them and then when they take them off they look a lot different,,, so I think either wayy;;;hope I helped :]
well honestly I wear glasses and many people including guys tell me all the time that they make me look far more mature. if your asking for yourself you look very adorable with them!!! your a little doll!!
glasses make me less intimidated by girls sometimes =) depends on the girl too. um it doesnt matter to me whatever is more comfortable for the girl too. contacts seem kinda annoying :P
glasses, it makes the girl look sexier and smarter. but I guess it would depend on the girl, but I do like girls with glasses. haven't really seen a girl look too bad in glasses
I'm a girl and I wear glasses/contacts I prefer to wear contacts most of the time and glasses only when im having a lazy day with no make up or anything hope this helped :) x
in your case id say glasses . cause daym you can pull them off ... youd look good with contacts but the glasses would just add a lot more sex appeal for you .
It varies as said. With you it's almost the same either way. Wear a ponytail if you wear glasses IMO. Somehow looks dorky with straight hair I think.
Glasses? If you have those, you got me lol. I'm not even lying I love a girl with glasses! I think it adds to the innocence thing that girls have lol.
I like to not wear glasses because they get dirty and can fall off get stepped so to answer glasses off you look nice either way
I agree, some things just look better for certain people. Personally, I like a cute pair of glasses on a slender cute girl. ^_^
I would prefer contacts bc if girls were wearing glasses, then you couldnt see their whole face.
Honestly it depends on the girl. Some look good with glasses, some better without them.
