What do you call soft drinks?

Soda or Pop?

I call it soda. My mom calls it soda, my dad calls it pop. I’m confused, is it pop, soda or soda pop?

I’m from Uniontown,Pennsylvania. Its near Pittsburgh an EVERYBODY calls it “pop” You’ll never hear anybody call it soda if they are from my area

My first husband was from minnesota and they called everything a coke. “you wanna coke?” “Sure, Ill take a root beer”. Weird

I’m from Wisconsin. My dad is from northern-WI and my mom’s from southern-WI. not much difference.

I Call It FizzyDrinks. But If I Was In A Different Country Where It Was Pop Or Soda I’d Probably Call It Soda.
