What do I say when a guy tells me he loves me???

Ok so im 14 and I have this guy that I really like and he likes me to…and when we are on the phone or texting,he will tell me he loves me, but I know its not true sometimes because at school I will catch him flirting with other gurls…and I just dont know how to respond to it so I say I love him back…am I doing the right thing??? I mean I cant just say “hey no you dont love me because you flirt with other girls” or “we are too young to know what love is”…and I dont want to make him mad at me or make me seem annoying or jealous!!! What the hell do I do???

when he says it muck around and say: haha no you dont you flirt with other girls. or sunfing like that and then see how he responds

and I know what love is but I was just using that as an example and at times I do feel that I have really strong feelings bout him and its just that I am uncomfortable sayin it back when I know 4 him its not true!!!

thank you for the advice and I have tried to tell him how I felt about him flirting with other girls but he just gets mad then doesnt talk to me for days and I care about him too much to go flirt with other guys!!!

There are different kinds of love. He obviously doesn’t love you the way you love him. That is not fair to you. No matter how much you love someone you should never let them treat you with disrespect.

no, All wrong. Don’t EVER tell someone you love them when you don’t. Because you said you don’t think he loves you, Do you like that he is telling you lies? Okay then don’t lie back. Just say, “Thanx” “Sure you do” “Your sweet” Anything as long as its true. Tell him you don’t like him flirting with other people. Or do some of your own so he could see how it feels. And your right, neither of you know what love is… “cause thats not it… Hope for the best, hon. :D
