What do I do if my best friend dislikes my boyfriend?

Ok, so me and this boy liked each other for 7 months. He kinda broke my heart pretty badly but after 2 months I gave him a second chance and we’ve been dating for 6 months now. He’s totally turned around and proved himself ten times over. I’m so in love with him but now I have the problem that my best friend is suddenly being rude to him constantly and giving me lectures on how he isn’t right for me and that I’m making a mistake. I don’t know what to do because I see her reasons… somewhat… but she doesn’t understand because she’s never been in a relationship before. I’d hate for a boy to ruin our friendship and I’ve tried compromise so much but she still hates him! He’s tries so hard to be nice to her but she’s so picky and judgemental. He’s not a bad guy at all but she seems to think he is.

If she was really my best friend, wouldn’t she get over the fact she doesn’t like the guy and stop being so immature and let me make my own decisions???

Yes. If she is truly your friend, she will accept the fact that you do love this guy and she will just have to move on. Even if she dislikes him, it is not her who is in a relationship with the guy. She has good intentions by trying to look out for you, but she must accept the fact that you two are together and she must move on.

If she decides to not be your friend anymore, then that just means she is not truly your friend because a true friend would just accept the fact that you two are together and there really is nothing she can do about it. If this happens, I know it will be hard for you to accept it as she is your best friend. But a true friend would just move on and continue to be your friend regardless of who your boyfriend is.

Hey same sorter thing happened 2 me, just ignore them I did, will still argue sometimes but I just ignore thm it ill b fine trust me, if you want 2 talk 2 me I don’t mind hope this helped :) x
