My throat has been hurting for about 2 weeks now and it feels like there is something stuck in there and it hurts so bad to swallow...what could this be? I was thining maybe my tonsils needed to come out but I don't know
You could have strep throat or mono. Mono is a lot worse than strep throat, trust me I've had them both!! I get strep throat a lot more than any person should and yet I'm still too argumentive to get my tonsils taken out. Mono is so much worse, they call it a kiising disease but you can also get it from the passing of saliva, for instance...drinking after people, and they don't even have to be sick. By the way it takes about 90 days to get over mono and the effects of it fully. You should probably go to the doctor though and let them check it out. Good Luck!!
well yeah it could be that but I just went threw that only my went away because I kept piggybacking my meds from tylenol to motrin and tylenol and motrin all day and then I like ate popsicles and scrambled eggs!..yum:) but I dont have my tonsills out so I don't know! hope this helps! ps mine eventually turned into a cold and then a sinus infrection so watch it and wash your hands I got my whole fam sick! so
