What could sharp lower back pain mean?

Hey,, hope you can answer this for me, I know I should see a doctor for this but im sick of going to see him, he jut keeps telling me to take paracetamol tablets when they aren’t even working, but does he listen? No!

I’ve’e had lower back pain for around 4 years, it comes and goes when it wants, when it does come I get it for liek a week or two and it is really sharp onmy lower back, it it strong when im sitting for too long or standing for too long and when I bend over. Any idea if I’ve’e damaged anything?

Well I have a lot of lower back pain also you should get a mri done on it. I myself have slipping discs that were found threw mri which somtimes pinch nerves in my back to give the throbing shooting pain.

does it shoot down one leg? if it does it could be a pinched nerve. Which totally sucks…but not as bad asif you were to of torn a muscle of something. if it comes and goes its probably a nerve. Hopefully your doctor hasent overlooked a disc problem. those are very serious. Get a second opinion for sure. I hope you find relief!

You may have sacro-illiac joint dsyfunction. Meaning the sacrum seperates just slightly from the illium. This joint is somewhat inmobile but after a car hit me in my sacro illiac I have had this as a result. It comes and goes depending on the stress and the strength of the muscles sourounding the joint. When I sit or stand too long it is absolutley ruthless pain. Also my si joint slips in and out constantly. If you notice your slipping in and out you might have this as well. You need to find a specialist who specializes in this it only took me 8 years. The sucky part is you can’t do too much about it besides shots in the joint and pain and anti-inflamation pills.

Some other things to consider are menstrual cramps or a kidney infection. My mom had sharp lower back pain and ignored it and ended up unable to walk–until she was treated for a severe kidney infection. Check with your doctor–lower back pain is one of the most common ailments in our country.
