What could be wrong with my dog?

I have a weiner dog - a docsun (sp?) Hes small, like an average weiner dog. Today when I came home from school, my brother told me not to pick him up because he was whining..but I did anyways. When I picked him up - I put my hands under his chest to pick him up- he whines like it kills him. Then after I pick him up and lay him on his bed, I find blood on my hands. Do you know of anything that would be wrong with him? Oh, when he walks, he doesn’t limp, but he walks extremley slow.

if you found blood, you should take him to the verterans right away

You should take him to the vet IMMEDIATLY!

Take him to the vet, sausage dogs are very prone to developing arthritis and other problems.

Ummm I would hate for you to hear this from someone you don’t know but your dog could be dying a slow painful death right now… Please please get him to the vet ASAP!!

you need to go to the vet. this breed has back problems also, Do you see a wound where the blood may have come from? Please take you loved pet to the doctor.

TAKE HIM TO THE VET…he’s obviously injured…My first thought was his back, also…but with blood…he’s hurt…GET to the Vet!

you really have to get him to the vet, this could be life or death. look for any wounds you can cover to prevent blood loss and use a towel to try to support him in the car. get there soon and best of luck :) and dachsund?
