What colleges have a major for nanotechnology?

Funny, you’re 13. So, here’s what you need to do, irregardless of WHAT you want to study.

1. Get good grades, you can’t go to a top teir school without them.
2. Practice and study for the SAT, give yourself at least a year.
3. Extra curriculars are extremely important…do something (ideally in your field of study, but if not, still) extra such a getting a job, internship, researching and writing a few papers, etc.

The difference between going to a top teir school and a run of the mill one, on average, is about $50,000 per year in Salary over the course of your career. Is it worth if? Of course.

I didn’t realize these things until after I had already started working and went to a state school…the only people that will tell you that it doesn’t matter WHERE you go to school either did incredibly well themselves and beat the odds, those who don’t aspire to rule the world and of course, those who did attend an ivy league school.

Once you are 15-16, work with your guidance counselor OR parents to select the school, read their course and major catalogue (it’s online) to figure out which one is the best…college isn’t just about learning, it’s also about fun. So if you decide that nanotechnology is good, but have the choice of Harvard or Stanford…then you need to figure out if you love snow, or not.
