What classes should I be taking?
So I am in that amazingly fun spot of high school where you gotta decide what to do as your job. I was thinking about ultrasound tech.. But not sure what corses would be needed and is it a collage or university thing etc? Any ultrasound technitions out there that might now and or have any advice about the job??? Thanks in advance :d
Well, I am not an ultrasound tech, but I have looked into related medical careers. As “fun” as it might sound as a tech they expect you to understand how your equipment operates on a theroetical level. I would imagine you’d have quite a few more math classes than you would expect, possibly some sort of sound analysis and how sound waves work.
If this is the job I am thinking that it is you could also be the person to tell a couple/person that their baby has died. I know how that goes it happened to me… well the woman I was with. Lost the child at 23 weeks. You will probably be required to take a counseling course to teach you how to cope with those moments.
Most jobs in the health field are going to pay well. Radiology, although hard would pay great, RN or LPN, is a great paying source.
