what can I make for my mum that's origanal?

I need a present for my mum’s birthday coming up soon and I want to make one to make it feel more special. I want the present to be origanal though and not just something like a picture frame. also my mum is really into exercise and everything at the moment so chocolates are a no go. please help!

This is so nice of you to do this. Start by making the card, just cut out some cardboard and colorful paper into shapes etc. You could put lace or string with beads on it too.

Here are some home made gift ideas:

-sew her a pillow (may be a bit tricky, but she would love it). -Get an old notice board from a second hand shop and paint it up to match her bedroom, or the room she could use it in. Stick some small photos of your family on it, and put a shopping list pad on it. -Get a cup (without a handle) and paint it/stick shells on it for a bethroom toothbrush holder. -Same idea^ , but a makeup brush holder. -Paint wooden bracelets. -If you are good at wood stuff, make her a table? lol. -Oooh, get an old wooden table and mosaic the top of it with broken dishes etc. -Mosaic a bowl for her. -Make jewelry (this sometimes gets expensive though…)
