So yea just wanted some advice on how to change this personality defect if mine…

Well, it’s not a personality defect. Trust is normally quite straight forward.

The more people do what they say, the more you will trust them and others.

The more people don’t do what they say, they less you will trust them and others.

So, presumably lots of people have let you down in the past, which then gives you cause to be less trusting now. And the more important a person and their trust is, the greater the impact if it is broken.

If people don’t often let you down and you still don’t trust them, you could use your cynicism to become a great lawyer.

Though I’m no psychologist, I doubt it’s a personality defect. Those have to do with damage to the brain, imbalance of chemicals in the brain, or genetic conditions. You’re just naturally mistrustful of people, which can be both a strength and a weakness. You don’t trust people to do things, so most likely you get the done yourself and to your liking, and that you’re less likely to get taken advantage of. But then, this probably gets on some people’s nerves, and makes it hard for you to form relationships.. So you need to find a mid-point.
