what can I do to help my guinea pig with cancer???

I’ve just found out today that my pet ginea pig has breast cancer, they can operate on him as it will just grow back, if the lumps get any bigger they will have to put him down…what should I do now???

Answer #1

I feel for you. It is an unfortunate fact of life that those of us who love our pets must inevitably endure their loss. It is our responsibilty that we ensure that our loved ones have a good quality of life from birth until, yes, death. Grief is the price we pay for Love. It is better that we suffer their loss rather than they suffer ours.

Sincerely, -Big Ben-

Answer #2

enjoy the time you have with your pet, They do not have a long life span, and they do not do well under anesthia, sometimes they don’t even make it out of surgery. So enjoy the time you have and let her go before she is suffering.
