How to get her to tell me the story?

I need to get a story out of my friend. She doesent want to tell me but it is very important that I know. My friend (not me) did something that could(will) ruin their life. I need to know the story so I can help my friend with their problem.

she may be being dramatic. thats what sum people do. and just leave her alone .if she doesnt tell you den she doesnt wanna. sum people like if you just drop the subject. …unless she keeps bringing it up just leave it alone or let her spit it out

maybe the friend doesn’t strongly trust you. Start doing lots of little things that build trust (as it builds over time, you can’t just demand to know what the story is unless you two know each other very well) IF you already do know each other quite well, explain to the friend that you WILL help, or if you can’t be helpful, then say that you’ll be there for them to talk to
