What can I Do about tests?

When I see a test I forget everything I just learnt. I study for hours and know how to do everything but as soon as I start reading a test I can remember anything. any ideas how to prevent that? thanks so much

I found that getting a small group of friends to have a test party works really well. Everybody studies before hand, then when the group meets, everybody gets to ask questions they think will stump the group. If you do this at a restaurant, then whomever ‘wins’ gets their meal paid for by the losers. It’s amazing how thorough a subject can be covered when there’s active minds on it.

When most people study they just read the stuff over and over again or they maybe jot down a few notes… best way to make it stick is to write out everything you learned..make a list of questions and anwser them lay it out really neatly and get used to seeing the anwsers on paper close your eyes and try to remember the answers do it over and over again and that way when you go in to the exam and see the question you can visualise the answer in your head !…works for me … plus it has been proven that you are more likely to remember something tf you write it down rather than reading it… Xo:)
