What are the pros and cons of dragonfly mating and bird mating?

This if for a College assignment. I cannot find any information anywhere! I would really appreciate it if someone could give Me at least 3 pros and cons for each subject.

the male grasps teh females head with his anal claspers… now this is a con because wtf if he grasps to hard and squish her head?

mating can also take place in the air and im thinking this is a con cus once again look at all that weight both male and female will be carrying..

pros of the dragonfly:

mating is allowing the species to live on

mating can last upto 7 hours.. must be a pro for the female as long as all 7 hours arent in the air

another con might be that the males never stick around after mating.. its just a wham bam thank you mam

my internet is very unresponsive at the min so ill try and think up some bird pros and cons later lol
